The Federal Government says it does not intend to make public the report of investigation into the July 5 brutal attack on the Kuje Prison by terrorists.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made this known while giving a scorecard of the ministry at a media briefing in Abuja.

Aregbesola said while investigations into the attack had been concluded, the Federal Government does not intend to make the report public due to its security nature.

He however said some of the escapees from the facility had been recaptured while many others were still at large.

Over 800 prison inmates escaped during the attack on the correctional facility, including some Boko Haram suspects.
