Suspected hoodlums have set ablaze the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) located at Iyana Mortuary area, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Reports said that hoodlums scaled the fence of the commission and entered the premises, soaking some items into the premium motor spirit before setting the office ablaze.

Operatives of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Ogun State Command, got to the scene hurriedly to put out the fire.

This comes after reports of attack by arsonists in Ede South Local Government Area, Ede Osun state.

Report said smoke was observed from the conference room of the secretariat some minutes to 10am and firemen were immediately called to the scene.
