After several years of inactivity, the Kaduna oil refinery is set to bounce back to life, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company and a South Korean firm for the rehabilitation of the refinery.
The MoU for the rehabilitation of the Kaduna refinery was signed in South Korea, and witnessed by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI who had visited the Asian country to attend the First World Bio Summit.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, President BUHARI expressed excitement that the same South Korean firm was in charge of the ongoing rehabilitation works at Warri refinery which will start delivering fuels production in the first half of 2023.
