The social messaging app, WhatsApp, has been restored after users of the social media platform were unable to send and receive messages in the early hours of today. 

Nigerian users of the instant communication app were unable to either receive or send messages since 8:00 am and they have been lamenting the development. 

At the moment, reports say full-blown operations of the WhatsApp messaging app have actively begun, with no hitches whatsoever.
