The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) says it called off its eight-month strike due to an order of the Appeal court, insisting that the issues raised with the federal government is still unresolved.
President of ASUU, Prof. EMMANUEL OSODEKE, while featuring on a monitored programme, said that although they were interventions by Speaker FEMI GBAJABIAMILA and others, the grievances have still not been solved.
According to Prof. OSODEKE, ASUU is resuming back to classes so as not to violate a court order, saying that they are a law-abiding organization.
