Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has directed the freezing of the State Government accounts with immediate effect.

This is coming hours after he was sworn in as the state governor at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti.

Aside from freezing the account, Oyebanji also made his first two appointments. 

He retained Yinka Oyebode as his Chief Press Secretary, and appointed an academic, Dr Habibat Adubiaro, as the Secretary to the State Government.
