The Federal Government has cautioned road users along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to exercise discipline as they drive through the construction zones of the busiest road in West Africa.
Director, Federal Highway (South-West), Federal Ministry Of Works and Housing, ADEDAMOLA KUTI said on a monitored television program that motorists know it is a construction zone which allows movement of 30km per hour, But at times things like vehicle breakdowns, accidents and the rest prolongs the traffic.
He blamed the rainfall and the attendant breakdown of articulated vehicles and lack of discipline from fellow motorists for the difficulties experienced by road users in the past few weeks.
