The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has urged Nigerians not to travel to Northern Cyprus, saying that the territory is not recognized in the international community except by Turkey.
Chairman of the Commission, ABIKE DABIRI-EREWA said this at the weekly State House Ministerial briefing.
While admitting that the country’s insecurity challenge is a source of concern, she said it is only temporary because of stiff measures currently employed by the Federal Government to tackle the situation.
The warning comes due to reports of many Nigerian being killed in Northern Cyprus.
