Nigeria’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, ABUBAKAR MALAMI has said that the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) has no basis to reject the proposed deductions of 418 million dollars from the Paris Club refund.
MALAMI told journalists at the State House Ministerial Briefing that the governors originally created the liability whose payment they had also indemnified, therefore all their complaints are unjustifiable.
The attorney general of the federation, ABUBAKAR MALAMI said that about 1000 convictions on terrorism have been made within 18 months.
He also made this known at the 46th session of State House Ministerial Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team in Abuja.
MALAMI said that within the period under review, the ministry had been involved in 312 cases ranging from terrorism to maritime offences, armed robbery, cyber-crime, kidnapping, among others.
