Team Nigeria has continued to receive rave commendations following their record breaking 12 gold medals at the just concluded common wealth games in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Team Nigeria won a total of 35 medals with several athletes breaking and setting new records including TOBI AMUSAN in the women's 100 meters hurdles, ESE BRUME in the women's long jump and the women's 4 by 100 meters team who set a new African record.
President Buhari thanked the shinning stars of Nigeria for competing among the best in the world and displaying their God given attributes with 35 medals including 12 gold, 9 silver and 14 bronze achieved.
