Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU has said that the okada ban in some local government areas of the state has led to a direct reduction in crime.

Governor SANWO-OLU while featuring on a monitored programme noted that the okada ban has been effective, with less reports of criminal activities in the areas where the ban is in force.

The Governor also added that the okada ban has led to a reduction in cases of accidents and auto crashes that were directly caused by motorcycles.
