It appears that the spate of industrial actions and strikes rocking the education sector might soon spill over to the Health sector.
This is as the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) have threatened to embark on strike if the federal and state governments fail to meet their demands within a 2-week ultimatum.
The resident doctors reached the resolution after its National Executive Council meeting which held for 5 days in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
The President of the association, GODIYA ISHAYA, who read the communiqué of the meeting, said that both the federal and state governments had defaulted on agreements made with the doctors in the past.
