After several months of continuous registration, the registration exercise for the Permanent Voters’ Card has finally come to a close yesterday.
Across the nation, and here in Ogun state, crowds of people trooped to various registration centers to ensure they have their franchise ahead of the 2023 elections.
Despite the deadline being extended from June 30 till July 31, many Nigerians were still unable to complete their registration exercise, with some calling for another extension.
However, the INEC National Commissioner for Voter Education and Publicity, FESTUS OKOYE in a chat with newsmen in Awka, Anambra State, dismissed any possibility of extending the exercise.
