A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, BABACHIR LAWAL, has faulted the announcement of a Muslim-Muslim ticket by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, BOLA AHMED TINUBU.

LAWAL, in a note he personally signed on Tuesday, described the decision as a “disastrous error, and  said the choice of KASSIM SHETTIMA was a sign that the APC presidential candidate has “been cornered by self-serving, hero-worshiping, politicians. 

TINUBU on Sunday had announced former Borno State Governor, SHETTIMA, as his running mate in the 2023 presidential election.
