A senator representing Borno south and chairman senate committee on army, ALI NDUME, has asked President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to take responsibility for the Kuje prison attack and take decisive actions to get expected results from service chiefs.
ALI NDUME in an interview with newsmen expressed dismay at the security situation of the country while noting that efforts need be coordinated at savaging the nation from its current security challenges.
The senate committee chairman on army also advised the president to get a detailed briefing from security chiefs, on the incident, the resources they needed to get to work and give them an ultimatum to getting results.
Meanwhile, a former Chief of Army Staff and Minister of Interior, Retired General ABDULRAMAN DAMBAZZAU Described the attack as an Indication that the Nigerian Prison has not been able to meet the minimum standard as set by the united nations.
