The House of Representatives has resolved to commence an investigation into the non-payment of pension and gratuities to retired federal civil servants.
The lawmakers passed a resolution, after a member, SERGIUS OSE-OGUN, moved a motion on the matter, directing its Committees on Pension and Public Service Matters to investigate the matter and report back within 4 weeks.
The Reps, in their resolution, decided to summon the Head of Service of the Federation, Accountant-General of the Federation, Director-General of the National Pension Commission, and the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate.
