Managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, MELE KYARI says there is an increase in the distribution of fuel in the country, resulting in a decrease in queues at filling stations.
The NNPC boss made the disclosure at the inspection exercise of fuel stations in Abuja, where he stated that a total of 140 trucks had distributed fuel in 3 days, to ease tensions at filling stations.
MELE KYARI however noted that instructions have been given to Fuel marketers to stop selling to jerry can buyers to avoid black market operations.
