Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has condemned  Sunday’s attack on Journalists during the tour of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju BOLA TINUBU, and ordered an investigation into the incident.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also directed that those involved must be fished out and made to face the law, while the state government picks up the hospital bills of those injured in the incident.

In the meantime, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Lagos State Council has condemned the attack on journalists attached to the Lagos State Governor’s Office by some hoodlums on Lagos Island.

In a statement, the NUJ Council Chairman, ADELEYE AJAYI frowned at the act, which he described as barbaric, wicked, and the height of lawlessness.

AJAYI further urged members to remain calm, law-abiding, and go about their duties without any fear, as the Union would continue to engage relevant stakeholders to prevent a recurrence.
