Several cities and states were left in darkness over the weekend, as the national grid collapsed yet again.
Reports said that the grid crashed in the evening leading to the eventual grid collapse after it recorded that the quantum of power on the grid as at 6am on Sunday was 3,628.6 megawatts.
Several electricity distribution companies announced the collapse of the national grid which occurred just before 7pm yesterday.
The Jos Electricity Distribution Company, Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, Eko Electricity Distribution Company, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company and the Abuja Electricity Distribution company all reported the collapse of the grid in separate messages to their customers.
