The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set a June 17^th deadline for all presidential candidates to name their running mates and July 15^th deadline for all Governorship candidates to name theirs. 

INEC Chairman, Prof. MAHMOOD YAKUBU, said this on the commission’s social media page. 

The chairman warned that any party or candidate that fails to upload their credentials on or before the deadline of June 16^th for presidents and July 15^th for Governors and their running mates would render their submissions invalid.
