The United Nations Secretary-General, ANTONIO GUTERRES, has arrived at the UN House in Abuja today and is expected to perform the laying of wreath ceremony in honor of the victims of the August 26, 2011, suicide bomb attack.
ANTONIO GUTERRES, arrived Nigeria Yesterday on a two day official visit.
GUTERRES while briefing newsmen in Borno state, expressed happiness that Nigeria is tackling terrorism from the root.
The UN Secretary-General added that his visit is symbolic as it is aimed at developing solutions to the problems generated by terrorism and insurgency in the country.
He is reportedly scheduled to meet with President MUHAMMADU BUHARI and the Vice President, Professor YEMI OSIBANJO, as well as other top government officials in Abuja.
