Federal Government has said the increase in prices of some foodstuffs, and petroleum products and other items is a global trend.

The Minister of Information and Culture, LAI MOHAMMED, who stated this at a media briefing in Abuja, added that presenting the situation as a Nigerian problem was a clear act of misinformation.

The minister added that the crippling fuel shortage experienced across the country has started easing, as measures taken by the government has begun to take effect.
