The Kaduna State government has announced that it will commence the transition to a four-day working week from December 1, 2021.
The Special Adviser to the Kaduna state Governor on Media and Communication, MUYIWA ADEKEYE disclosed this in a statement.
The new development will permit public servants to work from home for one day per week.
According to the state government, the measure is designed to help boost productivity, improve work-life balance and enable workers to have more time for their families, for rest and for agriculture.
However public servants in schools and healthcare facilities will continue the normal work routine, with the interim working arrangement to continue until the next stage of the transition.
