The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria says it is ready to partner the Ogun state government in the enforcement of compulsory insurances to achieve its economic goals.
This was made known by the president and chairman of the institute, MUFTAU OYEGUNLE, who led members of the council on a courtesy call to the state governor, DAPO ABIODUN in his office at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta
MUFTAU OYEGUNLE noted that the insurance sector has proven ways of fighting poverty and reducing impact of misfortune in the society.
He added that the institute is ready to work with the state to further expand its economic base
In response, Governor DAPO ABIODUN stated that the implementation of the economic and development blueprint of his administration has created a peaceful atmosphere in Ogun state.
