Lagos State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU has assented to the 2.2 trillion naira 2024 Appropriation Bill.

The signing of the budget was done at the Conference Hall of the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.

Governor SANWO-OLU, after signing the bill into law clarified that the approved budget size is 2.267 trillion naira, comprising 1.31 trillion naira for capital expenditure and 952 billion naira for recurrent expenditure.

The governor stated that his administration is determined to ensure that the goals and objectives of the budget are maximally realised for the benefit of all Lagosians.

According to him, the impact of the 2024 budget will be determined by the effectiveness of its implementation.

He assured that his administration will work tirelessly to ensure the completion of ongoing projects and ensure the effective take-off of new ones.
